NetSuite rolls out new AI features to help Aussie businesses ditch data drudgery and get more done
NetSuite is levelling up its AI game—and Aussie businesses stand to benefit. Announced at SuiteConnect Sydney, the latest round of AI innovations is designed to make life easier for businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
The upgrade aims to boost productivity by simplifying data entry, and giving users more control over how AI works across the platform.
This new batch of tools includes everything from smarter financial insights to natural language reporting, all embedded at no extra cost for NetSuite users.
“Building on the recent launch of NetSuite Text Enhance, we’re now adding more generative AI capabilities and AI agents for businesses in Australia and New Zealand,” said Evan Goldberg, founder and EVP at Oracle NetSuite. “These new tools are designed to improve efficiency and help customers customise their AI workflows so they can focus on growing their business.”
What’s new in the NetSuite AI toolkit?
Here’s a rundown of the fresh AI features rolling out now:
-
NetSuite Prompt Studio: Want more control over the tone, format or style of your AI-generated content? Prompt Studio lets developers and admins fine-tune AI prompts so content sounds just right—whether it’s a formal quote or a friendly customer message.
-
Text Enhance for custom fields: This one’s a time-saver. Now you can use generative AI to auto-fill custom text fields with relevant company data. It’s fast, accurate and configurable to suit your business’s style, thanks to Prompt Studio.
-
Financial Exception Management agent: Spotting problems in the books before close-off just got easier. This smart agent flags unusual financial transactions and helps you investigate and resolve issues before they turn into bigger headaches.
-
SuiteAnalytics Assistant: Get instant insights without fiddling with formulas. Just ask the SuiteAnalytics Assistant a question in plain English—like “What’s our top-selling product this quarter?”—and you’ll get instant, AI-generated reports, charts and summaries.
-
NetSuite Expert for SuiteAnswers: Think of this as a NetSuite-savvy chatbot. If you’ve ever trawled through support articles for answers, this AI agent now does the heavy lifting—offering tailored responses and how-to advice, fast.
What it means for small business owners
AI can be a buzzword—but these updates are all about real-world gains: faster reporting, smoother workflows, better decision-making, and fewer late nights wrangling data.
For growing businesses juggling limited resources, these tools could be a big win. Whether you’re a bookkeeper trying to clean up end-of-month or a founder trying to pull reports before a pitch, NetSuite’s new AI upgrades aim to help you do more with less effort.
And best of all? They’re embedded in the platform—so no extra cost, no extra software, and no steep learning curve.
With over 41,000 customers globally, NetSuite is betting big on AI to make enterprise-level smarts more accessible to everyday businesses. And from what we’ve seen, these new features are a solid step in that direction.
